Anyone using something like a Duplo or Morgana tabletop folder? We have budgeted for one in 2010 but are still looking at different models. I'd like to hear your "real world" experiences with one.

The Morgana is not really "table top". We purchased the Morgana Digifold that creases and folds. We bought the first version and it worked great! The only problem is it is SLOW! But they don't make that model anymore. The new model is called the Digifold 5000P. They made lots of improvements including the speed of about 3-4 times fasters. http://www.morganausa.com/product_65.htm

With either Digifold you can fold 14pt paper cross grain with heavy ink coverage and with UV and still not crack. Or 24pt paper cross grain and no UV and not crack. They cost about $30,000. It is one of those machines that looks tiny and you can't think it can do anything with quality, and you just have to run it to believe it.

I have seen Duplo's at work. The US headquarters and demo room is 2 blocks from my old job. For a creaser and folder, I will take a Morgana.
