Let me guess - Magenta is what you needed the most! ha ha ha

I think Kodak finally installed a "critical detector" in their machines. But how do they know what you don't have in stock?

Tell the customer those streaks are within tolerance of the machine (because your IC is still 3 days away!)

Adapt and survive, I guess.

Oh don't even get me going about the streaks.

Solution "Buy this ICS system that will help with the streaks"

Of course this is a enhancement to the press just like a software upgrade to make things better, THAT YOU GET FOR FREE. But we will charge you for this???

I thought the ATW that costs 4 times what the clear ones did was the key to "Printing Bliss"

Can you tell its friday? Laughing

So the other day after saying that nothing was back ordered when I placed an order on the website. I got my order and no fuser fluid, no developer of any color, no primary charger, and something else I forgot.

This is a first for me. Normally they say when you place an ordered it is back ordered. but they did not this time. The good news is nothing over 3 days back ordered so I am not going to run out of anything.

And I got my 15 cases of magenta ink and not back order. Maybe I got the rest of it Smile

Well nothing showed up Monday but I got 2 different trucks for the same PO. on Tue. Everything was there between the 2 skids except for 1 box of Magenta Dry Ink. Of course I only ordered 2 not 15 like some of us. Laughing

Just kidding Dan, but I guess I will live. Just like Mathew said 5 different Delivery # for 1 Skid and 2 for the other. It took a 30 min phone call to Rochester to sort it all out. I had things on the first skid that arrived @ 10am that they said were back ordered but I recieved and then the second skid that arrived on a different truck @2pm had the rest.

Rochester said "We are experiencing some supply problems and back orders" Ya think Rolling Eyes I guess the reason for the 5 different delivery # is they start to fill the order the night before and then the next morning they might recieve a truck from there supplier that has more of your order on it so they add it to it if it hasn't left yet. All of this seems to create the paperwork nightmare we are seeing.

Good Luck welcome to JIT Just in time inventory control

I ordered a new set of IC's and BC's and didn't get any of them. Instead they sent me a whole pallet of someone elses ink. With a packing slip for the IC's and BC's.

Was it magenta ink? Maybe that is why nobody is getting any:)

I'm finding that if you are proactive, and call them a few days after you place the order, you can get Customer Care to intercede and allow you the required part; at least enough to get you by. I see a lot more items on "Manual Allocation" when I order from the website. Maybe Manual Allocation is calling up and screaming for your ORCs.

We all have nothing else better to do than call, right? Hopefully this will resolve itself in the new year, should it be a "year end" thing like someone suggested.
